The gained content diversity as well as the increased distribution on channels such as Twitch and TikTok ensure both a sharp increase in SQVAD's number of followers and the collective's monthly engagement rate.
With SQVAD, SPORTFIVE has launched its own creator collective, which is simultaneously a platform, network, media house and gaming team and, as a community, combines diverse interests, wide-reaching creators and authentic content. SQVAD was consciously established in spring 2022 as a standalone brand in young target groups as a lifestyle brand that combines pop culture categories such as esports and gaming, but also fashion and music. As an organically growing platform, SQVAD leverages the interests and channels of Gen Y and Gen Z to implement content ideas and tell authentic stories. To date, SPORTFIVE has only made the brand accessible to a German-speaking audience, but will eventually scale it to a global level.

Successful content formats from last year will be expanded. SQVAD attracted a lot of attention in the German sports live streaming landscape during the summer break with the exclusive stream broadcast of the pre-season match 1.FC Nürnberg vs. Arsenal London. The content trip to Saudi Arabia in March 2023, the ambassador roles at the DFB ePokal final and various stadium and concert vlogs were also so well received by the community that the next editions are already being planned.
