SPORTFIVE Secures New Partnership Deal for Taiga Semikawa with ART MOVING COMPANY

Global sports business agency, SPORTFIVE, today announced a new partnership between Japanese golfer Taiga Semikawa and ART MOVING COMPANY, professional moving and transportation specialist.

As part of the partnership deal, ART MOVING COMPANY will receive prominent branding opportunities during all of Semikawa's golfing events throughout the 2023 – 2024 season. This includes branding on the player’s apparel and gear such as caps and bags, as well as on digital and social media platforms.

The two-time Japan Tour winner will also feature in a range of marketing initiatives and advertising campaigns for ART MOVING COMPANY, which will present tremendous opportunities for the brand to reach new audiences and grow its business.

Established in 1977 as the first specialised moving company in Japan, ART MOVING COMPANY has distinguished themselves from other transportation businesses by specialising in moving as a service. The company aims to become a lifestyle brand that provides a wide range of services centered around the moving business, prioritising the needs of the customers. ART MOVING COMPANY has expanded the business areas to include nursery school management, retail home appliances, automobile imports and businesses, among others. The diverse service offering has enabled the Japanese firm to achieve an impressive annual turnover of USD 1 billion in 2022.

The partnership is a testament of Taiga’s status as one of the hottest rising stars in golf today and we look forward to working closely with ART MOVING COMPANY.

“As a professional moving company, we have listened to our customers, refined our moving skills, and pursue service optimisation. We are very happy to partner with such a talented and young golfer like Taiga. We believe that this sponsorship agreement will bring great value to our brand, and we have great expectations for future developments," said Masato Terada, President, ART MOVING COMPANY.

"We are thrilled to have ART MOVING COMPANY partnering with Taiga, providing him with the support and resources to enhance his personal brand and showcase his talent on a global scale,” said Patrick Feizal Joyce, Senior Vice President, Golf Asia at SPORTFIVE. “The partnership is a testament of Taiga’s status as one of the hottest rising stars in golf today and we look forward to working closely with ART MOVING COMPANY to maximise the potential of this collaboration."

The new agreement marks a significant milestone in Semikawa’s career, as he looks to take his game to the next level and achieve even greater success in 2023 and beyond. The 22-year-old has already made waves in the sport by becoming the first amateur to win the Japan Open in its 95-year history last year.

Semikawa signed with SPORTFIVE for management and marketing representation in January of this year, and the agency has since been instrumental in securing new multi-year partnership deals, including PING and Srixon, which have provided valuable exposure and opportunities for the young star.
