Samsung partners with NFL in UK & Ireland

Samsung becomes the Official UK TV Partner of the NFL for the 2024 season, in a deal brokered by SPORTFIVE.

Samsung Electronics UK and the National Football League (NFL) have announced an exciting new season-long partnership as Samsung becomes the official TV Partner for the league in the UK and Ireland. 

The partnership will see the duo deliver the ultimate NFL gameday experience at home through Samsung’s large screen, market-leading TVs, to the league's ever-growing fanbase of more than 16,7 million fans.

The NFL’s dynamic and technological approach to sport viewership is a key reason behind Samsung’s partnership with the league. The South Korean electronics giant will seek to leverage the excitement of NFL to provide customers with the ultimate at-home viewing experience to watch the thrilling detail of every kick, play, sack and touchdown. 

In addition to providing customers with an unmatched at home experience, the partnership will drive awareness of Samsung large screen and soundbars through a series of multi-channel activations. These will include special promotional offers, social media, PR, CRM, online, and experiential activations.

The NFL continues to surge in popularity particularly here in the UK and people are searching for the ultimate viewing set-up, so it was the perfect match for us.

Samsung and the NFL will activate their partnership throughout the season, including at the 2024 NFL London Games.

Further marketing activity across the season includes a new weekly highlight series – The 8K Rewind – captured in exceptional clarity and showcasing the 8K capabilities of Samsung’s top TVs. 

Other activity is planned throughout the season, utilising NFL imagery and focusing on Samsung’s Neo QLED and large screen product range.

Joint experiential activations will take place at the 2024 NFL London Games, held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Wembley Stadium throughout October. This will involve large-scale fan interaction across the game breaks and across all stadium screens.

The partnership between Samsung and NFL was brokered by SPORTFIVE and is part of the agency’s growing portfolio of work with NFL rightsholders, which includes working as the New York Jets’ in-market partner agency and partnering with the Kansas City Chiefs to help grow the team’s presence in Germany.
