Global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE has signed a new ambassador for NERF brand with an overall strategy designed and activated throughout the year through various campaigns. The partnership between NERF and Olivier Giroud kicks off on June 14 in the brand's new TV and FLIGHT campaign.

Olivier Giroud is Les Bleus' top scorer and perhaps that's no coincidence!

Thanks to his hard work, humility and, above all, the pleasure he derives from playing his sport, Olivier Giroud has become a spectacular player who always aims right. 

With NERF, sports and training have never been so easy. Playing with a NERF Blaster is a physical activity, helping to strengthen motoric skills, speed and endurance - all essential skills for top-level sportsmen and women.

With this in mind, the SPORTFIVE team advised NERF on their strategy, starting with the choice of an athlete to represent the brand. A sportsman known to all, Olivier Giroud is unanimously acclaimed by children and their parents. In addition to his sporting records, his involvement and commitment both on and off the pitch made the World Champion the obvious choice to represent NERF in France. A choice reinforced by the common values shared by Olivier Giroud and the brand: team spirit, surpassing oneself, humility.

After this initial consultancy phase and the choice of ambassador, the teams built a tailor-made activation strategy for the brand, featuring the international footballer.

Olivier Giroud will be NERF's new ambassador from June 14, when the campaign created by SPORTFIVE ‘Toi aussi, devient un Champion’ launches. This 360° campaign will feature several activations, notably digital, but also at points of sale, where numerous NERF gifts will be up for grabs, including a training session alongside Olivier Giroud. The player will also be featured in NERF's new TV and FLIGHT campaign. On our screens, Olivier Giroud will play the role of a hero who, accompanied by his team of three children, will have to bring together all his skills to take down numerous targets, with team spirit, precision and speed at the top of his game!
