With strong roots in the Hauts de France region, and more specifically in Lens since 1929 with the presence of the last copper smelter in France, Nexans is asserting itself as a key partner of Racing Club de Lens, a club with a strong identity and glorious past (French Champion, League Cup, Drago Cup, Intertoto Cup). A project carried out jointly with the support of SPORTFIVE, the international sports marketing agency.
Nexans' association with RC Lens illustrates shared values of commitment and team spirit. Founded in 1906, the Racing Club de Lens has a very good record of achievements and has been several times French Champion, winner of the League Cup, the Drago Cup, the Intertoto Cup ... The Sang et Or, name that comes from the colors they wear for many years, have a strong regional mining identity and values based on fighting spirit, fair play and dynamism.
