Together until 2030: German Handball Federation and SPORTFIVE extend partnership
With around 24 million people interested in handball and the DHB men winning the silver medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the enthusiasm for the most popular indoor sport in Germany remains huge. Further sporting highlights are on the horizon in the coming years: From 2025 to 2029, Germany will host three Handball World Championships, including the Women's World Championship in 2025 together with the Netherlands and the Men's World Championship in 2027. There will also be a third Handball World Championship in Germany in 2029, as the junior partner of hosts France. As the largest national handball association in the world with more than 760,000 members and 22,000 teams, the DHB is playing a decisive role in shaping the future of the sport.
SPORTFIVE and the DHB work as well-established partners on an equal level. I appreciate the professional sales structures and the open nature of our cooperation. That suits our sport of handball.
