Dyn Media announced as exclusive streaming partner of the Basketball Champions League

Dyn Media and the Basketball Champions League (BCL) have agreed on an exclusive partnership for the DACH countries. As a result, Dyn Media will become the home of BCL games until the 2025/2026 season, expanding the offering for basketball fans by more than 170 international games per season.


Dyn Media acquires its first international broadcasting rights: Starting from the 2023/2024 season more than 170 games of the Basketball Champions League (BCL) will run on the Dyn Platform. The media and production partnership brokered by SPORTFIVE between Dyn Media and the Basketball Champions League organized by the International Basketball Federation Europe (FIBA Europe), runs until the 2025/2026 season and includes exclusive audiovisual media rights for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The performance in the easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga is the basis for the qualification of German teams. Hence the cooperation is consistent for us. In the Basketball Champions League, 32 teams compete for the title. The games take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, without overlapping with the national teams’ schedule. The Regular Season started in October 2022, the Final Four will be held over a weekend in early May 2023. Two German representatives are currently playing in the Basketball Champions League, Telekom Baskets Bonn and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg.
