Spend a summer filled with football in the city that never sleeps, see the stars of the silver screen mix with the best soccer players or travel the country and visit some of the most iconic and innovative stadiums in the world.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ is only a few months away and for a competition that has had everyone talking, our latest article explores why it might be the tournament’s 11 unique host cities and 12 iconic venues that define its success.

Football has some of the most iconic sporting competitions in the world: the FIFA World Cup™, the UEFA Champions League, the CONMEBOL Copa América, the Premier League, the UEFA European Championships, the Bundesliga and the list goes on.

No other sport has produced more fan-capturing competitions than football, so much so, that the game’s biggest competitor is football itself. And in summer of 2025, there’s a new kid on the block: The FIFA Club World Cup™.

The tournament will be the first truly global club competition, seeing 32 of the world’s best teams, from six different continental federations compete for the highly coveted trophy and $1 billion in prize money

Further anticipation around the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ was felt when it was announced that the U.S., a country with a reputation for hosting some of the biggest and most iconic sporting events in history, including the 1994 FIFA World Cup™ and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 1999™, would host the 2025 edition as a prelude to the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

As well as being known for hosting some of the greatest events and shows in the world, the United States is also home to some of the most iconic stadiums. The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ will put these grand arenas on show as 12 venues across 11 cities will host the 63 matches.

From the buzz of ‘The Big Apple’ and the dazzling lights of LA, to the scenic surroundings of Miami and Seattle, few countries can compete with the U.S. for best cities to host a sporting event. Below, we take a closer look at five of the most iconic venues and cities hosting matches in the summer of 2025.
